That's quite a stacked card, especially for female mma.

Why doesn't FFF try to hook up a deal with HDNET? If hicktown promotion like IFO can get on HDNET, why can't FFF?

Easier said than done. The stars have to be aligned in the right way to get a TV deal these days. You also have to consider the coverage of the particular network. It's a bummer that Bodog doesn't have a US TV deal right now. But ION was no prize and no one watches it anyway. They probably get more eyeballs on the internet. Do you think the NHL wants to be on Versus? But they can't get a better deal.

Last time I checked The NHL is also on Foxs Sports. They also have an NHL channel that comes with the sports channels. Back to my point, I'm not expecting FFF to all of a sudden end up on ESPN, but signing a deal with HDNET shouldn't be too ambitious considering that they televise small time promotions like IFO that don't have half the ambition of FFF.

Fox Sports is strictly regional. Versus is national. When somebody comes on a message board and asks "Why can't (fill in the blank) get a TV deal?", the answer is always the same. It's not that simple. I know you don't like that answer but that's the way the TV business works. You can't just flip a switch.

First, ProElite has been advertising past FFF events on their web, so Showtime is closer to than HDnet. but Showtime will air FFF? i doubt it. coz... cough cough. In near future, They will or they wont. who knows?

Second. im not sure but Guy Mezger the person in charge of HDnet Fights may not like female division so much. They didnt air Tonya vs. Julie on inside MMA when they have picked up last ShoXC. Forget about Kim`s debut on March, its a part of airing of Randy`s future fight for them. Theiy aired Kaitlin vs. Sarah at Tuff-N-Uff though.

edit: ohh Kims fight was today, not in March lol but who cares?

He or they just dont say " i dont like it" like Karo Parisyan has did on inside MMA maybe? dunno.

its funny that ppl started to think Mark Cuban is the Pokemon master of smaller MMA promotions.

Mark Cuban is Pokemon master of MMA - wants to ‘catch em all’

Sixteen fight card, or sixteen fighters? The former would be great, but the later sounds more plausible.

Can't wait to see the next Amanda Buckner fight. I'll be sure it will pop up online somewhere right after the event. Did FFF get any better with distributing their DVDs or what now?
