This is not much of a write up - but it was all I could find. I think the first round was close - but I won. She won the second. Both were pretty uneventful until the third.....From the third round on she was all mine It felt great not fighting after 8 MONTHS and being able to go 8 rounds without being tired. I trained SUPER hard for this fight and it showed. I also wore her down with counterpunching and body shots (which they failed to mention) I improve to 5-1-1 and Geigger falls to 6-3 (6 KO's)
I fight at the end of August as well and September...so stay tuned. |

| yeah, it's a shame that counter punches and body shots aren't as noticable to fight journalists. Those are the most effective shots, in the higher-level fights. In Amateur, it's head-hunting. In pros, you see more body shots and counter punching. At the top level, you see more advanced ring strategy and more developed combinations. |

KO - I agree. Yeah, ring generalship is soooo important. It's a very tough/skilled thing to really master. Sometimes you just don't even realize that you have been standing infront of on another for 4 seconds LOL That's too long in boxing.
Scarce -- did you see Monica Nunez?? I was a little shocked.
But yeah, Ali said she is not motivated cause there's no one left for her to fight. I really have NEVER heard nor read commentators and news people bash Ali up until her last two fights. How could you have almost 20 pro fights and still fight like that. Anyways..... |

Actually, I agree with Scarce.
Let her retire. You could take the belt and then make her come back out of retirement. How else is she going to make a living if she's not boxing? She'll come out of retirement. |
